Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Payne and son William and Wendell Latham returned home Sunday after spending several days at Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Edward Tapp and Mrs. Bernard Fristoe of Bentonville were visitors Wednesday of Mr. Tapp at Newtoi\ D. Baker Hospital in Martinsburg, W. Va. On Sunday Mrs. Tapp and Maddox Tapp visited Mr. Tapp.
Mrs. Sarah Latham and Miss Susan Latham were over night guests Friday of Mrs. C. C. Cock erill in Hendon. Misses Elizabeth and Sally Latham were guests for the weekend of Rev. and Mrs. Harold Carder in Culpeper. Saturday evening Sally attended a party at the home of Mr- and Mrs. Hugh Ryan.

Mrs. Allen Cooper returned to her home Sunday after udergoing surgery.

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ellison of The Plains were visitors Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Stanish Riley. Miss Laura Leigh Walter, formerly of Amissville, has returned to her home in Foster Falls after vis-, iting the Ellisons and Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Walter at The Plains.
