* Mrs. J. C. Burney was honored at a stork shower by her fellow employees at the DAR in Washington. D. C. She is the former Jane Hitt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur 'Hitt of Woodville. Miss Linda Hitt, sister of Mrs. Burney, was present for the shower, having recently spent her vacation with Mrs. Burney.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hitt accompanied their daughter, Tacy Carol Hitt, to Charlottesvlile last Wednesday. Tacy will be a patient at the Rehabilitation Center for thirty days.
