On August 28-31 your scribe and Geo. Allen, Sheep Specialist of VPI will be coaching Harrison Powers and Glenn Updike irt shearing at the C. C. Funkhouser farm near White Post.
On Sept. 1 Powers, Updike and I will leave for Indianapolis where the National 4-H Sheep Shearing Contest will be held on Sept. 2 in conjunction with the Indiana State Fair.
The National Contest, sponsored by the Sunbeam Corporation has awards of $400, $200, $100, and $100 college scholarships.
