Miss Ruth Stevens entertained Miss Addie Boyd and her niece, Miss Mary Ploken at a picnic at Elkwallow on Skyline Drive Sunday. Afterward they attended the Vesper service in Luray.
Galley Washington Smith, III of North Garden spent the week end with his mother, Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr. Charlie Smith and Paul Smith, who have summer jobs at Big'Meadows spent Saturday evening t^ith Mrs. Smith.
The Flint Hill Homemakers Club had their regular monthly meeting at the home of Mrs. Wade Pullen on Tuesday evening. Miss Ruth Stevens was program chairman and a Civil Defense film was shown.
After the business meeting and program the hostess served delicious refreshments.
