Mrs. Shelton Johnson and two children of Fort Oak, N. C. spent Monday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Dodson and family.
Guests at Havenhill, home of Mr. and Mr& Stewart H. Butler, were Mrs. Frank Nixon and two daughters of Ocean Springs, Miss, and Powell Butler and family of Luling, La., who arrived Tuesday to spend several days. Also spending the week with Mr. Stewart are his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Eaton and three children of Waterville, Me. Visitors Saturday of the Butlers were Mr. and Mrs. Russell Butler and daughter of Silver Spring, Md.
Revival services began Sunday at Slate Mills Baptist Church and will continue throughout the week. The Rev. Julian Orrell of First Baptist Church in Berryville is guest speaker.
Rev. and Mrs. Dewey Underwood and Rev. Julian Orrell were dinner guests Sunday of the Audie Weavers. Monday they were the guests for dinner of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Weakley.
