Absolves Manager Of
Mismanagement
The outging Town Council, at its final meeting in Warrenton Tuesday, unanimously adopted a resolution clearing Town Manager Phil Ancel of mismanagement charges.
The resolution claimed there was no substantiation of charges brought by contractor Bruce Noland.
Noland, ir» his campaign when seeking a seat fn the Virginia Legislature in the Democratic primary, flinging campaign dirt, alleged that the town manager altered the plans of a $100,000 sewer project t o benefit incumbent Delegate Tom Frost of Warrenton.
First Aid Course
Begins At Castleton
A five-week first aid course will be given at Castleton fire house each Monday night beginning August 21. The classes which begin at 7:30 p.m. will be conducted by Mr. John Parker of Remington, Va., who is a qualified first aid instructor.
Anyone interested in taking the course is invited to attend each Monday night. Please bring a chair for your own comfort.
