The Womens Club of First Baptist Church will sponsor a; wenie roast at the home of Mrs. Ora Barbour, Friday evening, August 18, 7 JO EST. There will be games and refreshments. The public is cordially invited.
Annual weight rally day will be held at the Promise Land Baptist Church, Smedley Sunday, August 27, beginning at 11:45 ajn.
Rev. E. Hembry, pastor, Temple Baptist Church, Washington, D. C. will be the speaker.
Dinner will be served at 2 pjn. - and at 3 o’clock there will be prayer meeting led by the Deacons and a sermon by Rev. L. C. Childs.
