One hundred Ohio cattle feeders will inspect three Rappahannock Angus herds on Saturday of this week.
The Ohioans, touring Virginia by Greyhound bus, will be met at Burke’s Store at 8:30 ajn. DST by Rodes Brown, Jim Yates, Ned Johnson and your scribe. One of us will board each of the three buses to tell the Oh ions about Rappahannock County and our Angus Breeders Calf Sale.
Cow herds to be inspected are: 8:30 a.m. - 9:15 a.m. Jim Bill Fletcher’s herd; 9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. C. E. Johnson’s herd; 10:15 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. L. J. Kilby’s herd.
At 11:30 a.m. the Ohions will be guests of Rappahannock Feeder Calf Association for lunch at Panorama. Sale consignors are urged to be present at the lunch to meet and talk with the Ohions. For lunch reservations call Washington 2231 by noon today.
