The fire company was presented a check from the Ladies Auxiliary in the amount of $1,500 and the junior firemen added another for a hundred dollars. Chief Braxton James expressed thanks on behalf of the fire company for the generous .gifts.
Special music was provided by the “Rappahannock Rocketts” and dinner music was played by Miss Landra Dennis.
