For Feeder Calf Sale
Nominations for the Culpeper r Spring Feeder Calf and Yearling Sale are due March 1st. Rules and regulations as well as nomination blanks are available at your County' Agent’s Office.
This is a progressive sale. Prices in past years have proven most satisfactory. Several Rappahannock producers have reported the additional effort and time in preparing feeders for the sale have provep to be a goock investment.
If you know fanners who have feeder calves or feeder yearlings, which they plan to sell, please tell them about it.
Cross-bred steers are accepted, but no cross-bred heifers.
4-H County Council
Sponsors Supper
The annual 4-H Cdunty Council Supper will be held Saturday, March 17th at the Flint Hill fire hall from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $1.00 for all over 10 years of age; 75c for children under 10. The menu will feature ham accompanied by green beans, parsley potatoes, Harvard beets, congealed salad, hot rolls, coffee and apple crisp for dessert.
Tickets may be purchased from any 4-H club member.
