The annual 4-H Supper has been planned for March 17th at Flint Hill fire hall from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. lHam’n all the trimmings. Barbara Jones and 4-H leaders say they are going to have an apple dessert. Told me the name but I’ve forgotten . . .anyway from her description it sure sounded good. Don’t forget this one . . invite your friends . . bring the family. Charges: kids under 10 years 75c; 10 years or older $1.00.

Paul Coleman, our part-time assistant in charge of 4-H work, departed kinda sudden like. The Navy up and called him long distance. Thus, I have been meeting 4-H clubs this month.
Washington I and II, Sperryville I and II are taking the Electric Unit I project_also the Forest Grove Club. Boys demonstrating how to make an extension cord thus far were: Tommy Williams of Washington I; Ellis Smith of Washington II; Larry Conners and James Cannon, both members »f Sperryville I.
At the • Sperryville III Club meeting Gregory Dodson gave an interesting report on characteristics, color and uses of three kinds of wood, beech, birch, and cherry. Boys in this club are studying forestry.
At the Sperryville III business meeting it/was brought out that the president had moved so Sue Turley automatically moved up to the presidency while Joan Clark was elected vice president. Joan will be responsible for arranging and conducting club programs.
