Lee Greenaway Wins

Casanova Race

Miss Lee Greenaway of Washington won the ladies race, the Melrose CaStle, at the Casanova Hunt Point-to-Point races Saturday. Miss Greenaway, the 15-year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. , , Leon Greenaway was the youngest entrant in this two and a half mile race. She is also the youngest rider to participate with a recognized hunt. She has ridden with the Fairfax Hunt for the past two years.

In the race she took an early lead and was challenged only once finishing six or eight lengths ahead of the second place rider.

Miss Greenaway received a silver cigarette box and the trophy, which is perpetual.

Miss Greenaway and her horse Redmond, arc the same age. Out of about 15 races entered, Redmond has won 12 times.
