Other races on the card are the Mason Mountain for juniors with two entries; the W. A. Laing Memorial, also.for juniors, with seven entries. >A ladies race, the Mount Salem, has the following entries: Miss Cynthia Cushman, Miss Lee Greenaway (winner of the 1962 Casanove Hunt ladies race), Miss Poppet Robinson, Miss Barbara Kraeling, Mrs. B. H. Murray, Miss Jean Spurr and an entry eech from Larry Boyce and Thomas Beach. The Mount Marshall is a race for gentlemen with seven entries and the Mary D. Slaughter Memorial, an open race, also has seven entered, including C. R. Linton, winner of this race in 1961 with “Timberline.”

The Colonel Richards Memorial has two juniors entered.

The final and one of the most popular races is the Hound Race. This is approximately ZVi miles over a drag course. This year there are more entries than ever coming from Rappahannock, Culpeper and Madison counties.

Clifton Clark of Woodivlle, foxhunter, hound owner and racer, is in charge of arrangements for the Hound Race and reports that entries indicate the biggest race in years. He also stated that the course, to be dragged just before the race, will be visible almost one hundred per cent from the spectator hills.

Rappahannock Point-torPoint enthusiasts and especially hirdy, sporty, weather-inured kind of race buff, have a full nine event race card Scheduled for their enjoyment at Thornton Hill Farm Saturday.
