Series Of Sermons
The Rev. John R. W. Stott ol London speaks on the ten week Episcopal series of the Protestant (Hour which began Sunday, February 11 “Suffered Under Pontiu: Pilate” is the title of his sermor to be broadcast March 4 over Station WINC, Winchester at 9:30 p.m. and 425 other stations coast to coast.
In great demand as a preacher, the Rev. Stott has conducted preaching missions in the United States, Canada, Australia and in South Africa as well as in his native England. This is his debut on nationwide radio in the United States.
Author of a number of books, the Rev. John Stott’s “Basic Christianity” has been translated into Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Arabic, Greek, Italian and Korean. He is also the author of “What Christ Thinks of the Church,” “Fundamentalism and Evangelism,” “Your Confirmation,” and his just released “The Preacher’s Portrait.” His Episcopal Series sermons, based on the Apostles’ Creed, will be the basis of a new book soon to be published.
