The survey of buildings in Rappahannock was made Monday of last week with only two buildings found which could qualify for public shelters. The Skyline Drive tunnel at Panorama might also qualfiy, but of course is under the control of Park Officials. To qualify for a public shelter for at least fifty people, a building must have at least 500 square feet of floor space; not less than 6% f feet of head room, and at least 8 inche walls and overhead protection of concrete, stone or brick. Provision would have to be made for covering window^ and otiher openings in an emergency. One
