Mrs. Izora Root and Mrs. Mary Heise of Indiana and Mrs. T. S. Kilby of Culpeper were Wednesday and Thursday guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Thornhill.
Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Weakley had as their guests on Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Yowell and son Wayne of Luray and Mr. and Mrs. Feed Lamb and Sheila and Larry Lamb of Culpeper. Mr. Wealdey is much better and is up and around after being sick this past weak.
Word has been received that Alton Brooks of Slate Milk and Philadelphia is at home now. He broke his leg in the winter and is now getting around in a walker.
Mrs. Claude Gaines was home for the weekend, returning to Alexandria on Monday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lillard of Falls Church spent the weekend of April 1st with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lillard. Mr. Lillard returned here on Friday for the opening of the fishing season and will remain the rest of the week to fish.
Pvt. Charles H. Jenkins of Fort Jackson, South Carolina, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Jenkins, is now home on a 14-day furlough. He will be leaving Wednesday for Texas where he will be stationed at Fort Sam 'Houston.
