In 1961 about 270,000 Americans died of cancer. In 1960-it was 265,000; b» 1959, 260,000. This year about 275,000 will die of die disease; that is 750 persons a day, one every two minutes. Of every six deaths from all causes in the U.S., one is caused by cancer.
Let’s help to cut down these astounding figures of death caused by cancer by donating to the cancer research program. The goal for Rappahannock County for 1962 is $500. Let’s try to top this figure.
