On March 25, the Scrabbie School was crowded from 2:30 to about 4 p.m. We were having a lovely dinner for the King and Queen of Health Rally. Parents and students served the dinner. They were kept busy. *
While the parents and friends were eating, the pupils entertained them with impromptu speeches on “Our Bible Class,” Hymns and the poems, "The Wind’s A Witch” read by several pupils.
The best speech came from the sixth grade and was given by N annie Jackson.
Jacqueline Jackson spoke on "A Good Trustee." We sang “Fairest Lord Jesus” and “Now The Day Is Over.” We truly thank everyone who came and contributed to our school dinner.

Charles and James Lewis, Mrs. Edna Pain, Mrs. Annie Robinson, and two sons, Albert and Dale ,aill of Washington, D. C. were dinner guests Sunday at the home of C. C, Lewis and family. Miss Harriett Lewis was called to Washington,, D. C. Friday to see her sister Virginia who was seriously ill.
Mrs. Roberta Russell, Mrs. Fannie Jackson and Reuben Aylor spent Wednesday in Charlottesville.
