Entertains W.S.C.S.
Mrs. C. Ennis Brown was hostess to the Woman’s Society of Christian Service of Sperryville Methodist Church on Thursday evening. The president, Mrs. Brown, presided. Final plane were made for the dinner to be given on Saturday, April 14 at Lee Highway Hotel. It was also decided that the ladies of the church will meet on Tuesday, April 17 to give the church a spring cleaning. All interested members who will participate in this project will be welcome. Those present were Rev. arid Mrs. Wm. A. Jester, Mrs. Roy Reeve, Mrs. J. R. Devers, Mrs. Buddy Devers, Mrs. Sonny Brown, Mrs. Lester Dodson, Mrs. Lee Swindler, Miss Ruth Menefee and Mrs. John Eubank.
