Mrs. Frances Smith
Mrs. Frances C. Smith, 81, of l Yonkers, New York, died March 23 at her home after a short illness.
Mrs. Smith was born in Rappahannock County in 1880. She went to Yonkers in 1927. She was the widow of Vincent Smith.
Mrs. Smith was a member of the John Burroughs Garden Club, the Chaminade (music) Club, the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Knighted Daughters of.
the Confederacy and National So-| ciety of Magna Carta Dames. She| was a communicant of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church there.
Surviving are two sons, Vincent C. Smith of the home address and Corbin J. Smith living in France; a sister, Mi?. Frank Moffett of Washington, Va.; and a brother, Curry Carter of Staunton, Va., who is a member of the Virginia Senate.
