Charlie Smith is again this season working each weekend in the gift shop at Big Meadows on the Skyline Drive.
Rev. and Mrs. William Jester attended the Annual Alumni Day activities at Randolph-Macon College at Ashland on Saturday. Mr. Jester received his Ba degree there in 1955.

Spring Barbecue At
Long Mountain
Miss Helen Fuller, assisted by her house guest, Mrs. Melvyn Douglas, entertained at her annual spring party at her home on Long Mountain on Saturday, April 28.
Her guests for the lamb barbecue were friends of long standing from many sections of the United States who look forward from year to year to this gathering.
From the terrace, the view of blossoming apple orchards, dogwood, and redbud mixed with the tender green of new foliage with the Blue Ridge Mountains as a backdrop, was the topic of conversation. Rappahannock was dressed in all of her spring finery over the weekend.
