or even log huts we find quite out of date. Also the fact that there is rabies but no small pox here has explained much that has warped our outlook in the past. Again, that we are still 'not sure if that quaint but unmistakable animal, the skunk, i*'» sign of American isolationism or just a national emblem, shows we stillhave much to learn.
One thing unmistakedly certain to all is that our host and hostess, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Laing and their delightful family uphold the American reputation for kindness, hospitality, unbounded enthusiasm and energy in right royal fashion.
We will always remain deeply grateful to them for our never to be forgotten stay in this delightful country.

The Covered Dish Supper sponsored by Washington and Flint Hill Baptist Churches and held at the Washington Church Thursday was a great success with a large group attending. Rev. and Mrs. Gareth Miller of Jeffersonton wer honor guests. Rev. Miller will be guest speaker at the Revival to be held at the two churches from May 6 through 11. Rev.
