High scorer for the Pantherettes was Ann Jenkins who chalked up 12 points. Tish Kilby followed with 6, Janice Dodson with 3 and Phyllis Keyser had 2 Diane Bruce was high point player for Warrenton with 8 and Mary Jane Brewer had 6 to her credit. Burke and Edwards followed with 4 and 1 respectively. In the semi-finals Friday night Tish Kilby played an outstanding game, making 19 of Rappahannock’s 32 points. The Pantherettes defeated Nokesvilld 32-20. Janice Dodson was " second in line with 9 points. Jenkins had 3 and Schaefer 1. Mrs. Aline Johnson and Mrs. Margaret Anny Wayland coached the victorious team.
