Jack Nicholson accompanied By his son Billy Nicholson was in Martinsburg Monday for a check up at the Newton D. Baker Hospital.
Miss Lottie Burton had as Sunday dinner guests Mr. and Mrs. George Haymaker and Randolph Grubbs of Front Royal and Mrs. Carson Walter of Middletown.
Mr. and Mrs. Luther Payne had as Sunday dinner guests Mr. and Mrs. Walvet Clark. Buddy and Lucille Clark and Mrs. Mattie Clark of Falls Church, Mrs. Gladys Moore of Arlington. Also Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Payne of Culpeper. Mr. and Mrs. Stant Weaver attended church at Mt. Lebanon Church Sunday and were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Butler of Boston.
Mrs. B .M. Miller returned home Sunday afternoon from a week’s motor trip to Florida. Mrs. Wade H. Massie, Jr., who accompanied her, remained for a longer visit and will return with Mr. Massie at a later date.
Mrs. Bergitta Stenberg and son. Even, left Thursday to return to Stockholm, Sweden, after an extended visit with Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Lindgren at Jessamine Hill.
Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Miller. Jr., and children, • Dick and Peggy Lee, of McLean were weekend visitors of Mr. and Mrs. D .D. Miller and Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Miller. _ The world is full of people busy explaining things they don’t understand.
