Local chapters are being formed all over the country, several hundred already in operation. They are intended to promote fellowship and mutual helpfulness, with minimum emphasis on organization mechanics. Membership in the organization does not necessarily involve member ship in local chapters, which is entirely optional. The chapters prepare and conduct their own programs with sufficient variety to appeal to a variety of tastes and interests. A volunteer field organizer can be secured to help organize a local chapter in Rappahannock County if desired, and at no cost. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Williams were Sunday afternoon visitors of her brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ritenour near Winchester.
Sgt. First Class and Mrs. Billy Smith spent the week-end with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Smith. Sgt. Smith left o n Monday for Aberdeen. Maryland where he will go to school for several months. While he is in school -Mrs. Smith will live with her parents near Chicago, Illinois.
