Mrs. Maude C. Fincham
Mrs. Maude C. Fincham, 79, died February 27, 1963 at her home, 220 N. Early Street. Alexandria, Va.
Mrs. Fincham, formerly of Rixeyville, was born in Madison County, daughter of Mathew Jenkins and his wife, Eliza Brown Jenkins. She was the widow of Oscar Fincham and is survived by two daughters, Mrs. William H. Boelka of Alexandria and Mrs. Clyde Lillard of Flint Hill. Also four grandchildren, John Lillard and Miss Marion Fincham of Alexandria, Clyde Lillard, Jr., of Flint Hill and Mrs. William Wayland of Sperryville.
A funeral service was held in Geest Funeral Chapel in Culpeper, Saturday, March 2, at 2 p.m., the Rev. Warren Wilbur
officiating jglergyman. Interment was ni Washington Masonic Cemetery.
Pallbearers were D. D. Miller, Robert Nethers, Jack Lillard, Ollie Fincham, Bowser Williams, G. William Mitchell, E. B. Cary and Everett Kerrick.
Mrs. Dorothy Singleton
Mrs. Dorothy Singleton, wife of Lionel Singleton of Chicago, 111., formerly of Sperryville, died Sunday, March 3, 1963. A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 7, in the Geest funeral chapel, at 3:00 p.m. with interment following in Sperryville Cemetery. The Rev. C. F. Melton and the Rev. E. H. Nicholson will conduct the last rites.
