Johnnie Hood Gilbert of Culpeper was awarded a verdict of $25,000 by a Rappahannock County jury last week for permanent injury and total disability as a result of an automobile accident which occurred February 27, 1960. The accident happened on Route 522 near Flint Hill. The $25,000 awarded will carry 6% interest per annum from the time of the accident. The driver of the car when the accident occurred was John Franklin Jolliffe of near Amissville, who was killed in the crash. Jolliffe struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Edward Lee Mallory and then smashed into the Jqrdan River Bridge. Gilberts suit was filed against J. L. Fray, administrator of the estate of John Franklin Jolliffe, deceased Edward Lee Mallory and Maude R. Jolliffe, charging the deceased Jolliffe boy,
