Robert Armentrout, a student at Shenandoah College, spent the weekend at his home here. Raymond Kelly of Daytona, Ohio, who is stationed at Bainbridge, Md. was a house guest for the weekend of the Armentrouts.
Mrs. Lily Barber who is spending the winter with her daughter and son-in-law Dr. and Mrs. Alfred Armstrong in Williamsburg recently fell and sustained multiple bruises but no broken bones. She is reported to be improving satisfactorily.
Barney Pauze, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Pauze of Woodville was named to the Dean's List at Hampden-Sydney College for the first semster. He was among 29 of the 139 freshmen to make the list.
