Washington News
Mr. and Mrs.-J. E. Keyser were in town on Sunday, attended church services at Washington Baptist Church were luncheon guests of their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Edmonds at Huntly. Other luncheon guests were the Rev. W. R. Snead of Culpeper, J. E. Keyser, Jr., of Williamsburg and Miss Mary Miller Wood. J. E. Keyser, Jr., was a Sunday over-night guest of Mrs. R. L. Cheatham, at Mountain Green.
Miss Frances Wood returned to school in Staunton Sunday. She was accompanied by her mother, Mrs. Downing Wood and her grandmother, Mrs. C. G. Reid.
Mr. and Mrs. Wade H. Massie, Jr., returned Friday from Sarasota, Florida. Mr. Massie had spent several weeks at his home there and was joined by Mrs. Massie two weeks ago. Miss Annie Miller Almond spent the weekend at her home here.
