Perle Coffey, her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Coffey, and their son, Frank, spent Sunday in Nelson County where they visited L. K. Coffey at Tyro.
Miss Shirley Brown of Arlington was a weeeknd guest of her mother, Mrs. Catherine Brown.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Martin and family of Bakerton, Md., spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. David Anderson.
Mrs. E. J. Clark returned to Chicago with her borther Lionel Singleton on Saturday. She will spend a week there, Her son, Billie Mundy, is staying at the Lee Highway Hotel during her absence.
Mr. and Mrs. John Eubank. Jr., were visitors Sunday of Mrs. Eubank’s grandfather. James Lillard, who is a patient in Winchester Memorial Hospital. In the afternoon they were in Fairfax to visit Mr. Eubank’s aunt, Mrs. Virgil McClanahan, a patient in Fairfax General Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Atkins, who are both ill at home, are slightly improved. Miss Irene Keyser of Washington is on nursing duty at night.
•J. B. Johnson, who has been confined to his home for several weeks, is improving and able to get out a bit.
Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Gossom and children of Falls Church and Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Smith of^Washington, D.C., left Sunday for a vacaation in Florida. During their absence George W. Brown will visit his nephew C. L. Brown and Mrs. Brown in Elkin, N.C.
Elder and Mrs. J. Harvey Daily were in Martinsburg, W. Va., for the weekend and were dinner guests Saturday of Mrs. W. B. Barr and overnight guest nold and her mother. Recent guests of Eld. and Mrs. Daily were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Brubaker and Clarence Moyer of Lu'ray.
