Col. Hendrick in Recital At Front Royal Mar. 24th

Colonel James Pomeroy Hendrick, of Willow Brook Farm, will give a recital in the E. Wilson Morrison Elementary School, Front Royal, March 24, at 4:00 p.m. Tickets are $1.00 for adults, complimentary for all students. The concert is sponsored by the Front Royal Music Study Club. Colonel Hendrick is a bass baritone who has studied in New York, Vienna, and Paris. He has been soloist with the Department of Agriculture Orchestra (Washington), the Gilbert and Sullivan Blue Hill Troups (New York), and Le Lapin Agile (Paris). Appearing with Colonel Hendrick will be Michael Farcasanu, Romanian violinist, who studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music In Bucharest. Both artist will be accompanied by Helen Cunningham Smith, well-known pianist and organist in Front Royal. Mrs. Smith is a graduate of The Academy of Fine Arts, Syracuse, New York.
