A grand jury handed down two indictments Monday when the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County convened for the March term.

James Jennings of Culpeper was indicted for feloniusly shooting into the motor vehicle occupied by Carroll Carter and Louise Dean and James Woodrow Knox of Clarksburg, Tenn., a patient at Walter Reed Hospital, was indicted for auto theft. Arraignment was set for March 27 in both cases.

Charles Douglas Burton, Matthew Irvin Burton and Arthur James Cave, all of Madison County, entered a plea of guilty to breaking and entering the store of Mrs. John Wayland on Route 211 near Sperryville. Sentencing was set for April 4.

On March 27 Roman Luther Coston, Norman Richards and William Franklin Rankin will be tried for breaking jail.

Johnnie Thomas Harrison will come to trial April 4 for the murder late last summer of his father, James Hilliary Harrison.
