Fauquier To Host

Fauquier . county will be host to the annual District VIII Home Demonstration club meeting Thursday, April 11, at St. John's School gymnasium in Warrenton. 1 More than 350 members are expected from clubs in Arlington, Fairfax, Culpeper, Madison, Prince William, Rappahannock and Fauquier. A business session will be conducted in the morning and after lunch a program of entertainment will be presented. Luncheon tickets at $1.85 may be purchased from local club presidents, before March 30. Mrs. J. K. Nicholson of Arlington, district president will meet with Fauqueir county chairmen in Warrenton, March 20 to complete plans for the meeting.

Carnival Dates
Dates set for Castleton's Firemens Carnival are July 10-11-12-13. This annual event will be held on the same lot as in previous years.
Amissville Auxiliary
Elects Officers
At the regular March meeting of the Amissville Ladies Auxiliary to the Fire Company which was held Tuesday the 12th, officers were elected as follows: President, Mrs. Russell Hackley; VicePresident, Mrs. Charlie Compton; Secretary, Mrs. Charlie Priest; Treasurer, Mrs. A. C. Latham; Chaplain^/vlrs. Franklin Williams. All of these were re-elected to office except Mrs. Compton, who replaces Mrs. Robert McLean as V-President.
