Wood and passed by the Board a compromise between the town and county was adopted as follows: at county expense, install street lights along the county property from the jail to the Civil Defense Building; Snow removed on sidewalks adjacent to county property; grass cut in marker lot adjacent to courthouse lawn; encourage the establishment of dumps in county. The Board appropriated $300 for clerical help in Clerk’s Office to bring Deed Book Index up to date in the Master Index Books. Other business was the appointment of J. Newbill Miller to the County Planning Commission to replace - M. Jones who resigns
