On Thursday the Flint Hill Rescue Squad was called to the Front Royal Hospital to take a Mr. Seal to a Washington , D. C. hospital. On Saturday the Squad brought O. E. Welch home from U. of Virginia Hospital. On Sunday they took Byrd Eastham of Hume to Front Royal Hospital and back home. The Rappahannock Rescue Squad was called Saturday to Smedley Hollow. The Chester Gap Fire Company answered a call to the residence of Albert Williams on Monday afternoon where an overheated water heater resulted in some damage to the heater itself.
