The W. S. C. S. of Amiss* vllle Methodist Church held Its May meeting at the church with thirteen members present. Mrs. Thomas O’Halloran was in charge of the program and hostesses were Mrs. Willie Hackley and Mrs. Eddie Hitt. Members of Amissville Rurltan Club who attended a meeting of the Culpeper Club on May 8 were E. R. Hitt, E. J. Hitt, Edward Lawrence, Charlie Priest, Nelson Burner, Talmadge Hitt, Ralph Hitt, Allen Cooper, and William Hoffman. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Moss and family and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Johnson of Falls Church, Mr. and Mrs. David Martin and family of Rixeyville were recent Saturday dinner guests of^Mr. C. J. Moss. Mrs. Ella Thalen returned Sunday to her home in Harrisonburg after spending a week with Mr. Moss.
Mr. and Mrs- Burrell Luttrell and daughter Lisa of Scotch Plaiqs, N. J- were guests from Friday until Sunday of L. H. Luttrell and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Dennis. , Sunday afternoon guests of Mrs. Sarah Latham and family were Mr. and* Mrs. !
