Dr. and Mrs. T. G. Pullen of Catonsville, Md., spent the weekend at their home, Odds and Ends.
Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning were Thursday dinner guests of Mr, and Mrs. Maynard Nicholl of Annapolis and Bentonville, at their home in Bentonville. The Women's Missionary Society of the Flint Hill Baptist Church met Friday evening at the home of Mrs. Ellis Bennett. Mrs. W. A. Moore, Jr., conducted the program which was the 75th Anniversary program of the Society. Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Bennett were their son and daughter-inlaw, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bennett and children of Manassas.
A successful covered dish luncheon was held Sunday at the Fire Hall for the benefit of the Volunteer Fire Com-: pany. Mr. and Mrs. M. R. Bradford, Jr., Miss Virginia Yates Bradford and H. S. Barksdale were in Blacksburg Sunday to visit Cadet M. R. Bradford, IH.atV.P.I. # Mrs. Frank Cary was a v week-end guest of her sister Mrs. Angus Hopkins in Woodstock.

Mr. and Mrs. James E. Yates, Jr., and daughter, Katy of Emory, were overnight guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. James Yates at Meadow Green. Monday they were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. John Humphries in Annapolis, Md., and in the evening were dinner guests of Edward Yates, Jr., in Alexandria. They returned to Meadow Green Tuesday and were overnight visitors of 1 Mr. and Mrs. Yates before returning to Emory* Miss ! Ann Yates of Washington, ; D. C., speent the weekend 1 with her parents at Meadow i Green.
