Elected To Honorary Soc.
Edgar (Butch) Browning, a Junior at the University of Virginia, has been elected to the Beta Chapter of Virginia Phi Beta Kappa. The initiation will take place in Charlottesville on April 1. Mr. Browning is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning of Flint Hill and is a 1960 graduate of Rappahannock County High School.

Despite rain and sleet 11,500 residents of Culpeper County turned out yesterday to receive Type III Sabin Oral Vaccine.
The total number receiving the vaccine at Culpeper County High School was 2,700 and other locations reported as follows: Culpeper Baptist Church - 2,100; Brandy Fire Station - 1,200; Salem School 1,200; A.G. Richardson School 1,100; Jeffersonton Elementary School - 900; Mitchell’s School - 800; Lael Baptist Church - 600; New Canaan Baptist Church - 300; Richardsville Community Center - 200; Baptist Home - 300; Hospltal Patients and Volunteer Workers - 100.
