Hit And Run Accident
Sunday night about 10:30 on Route 650, the road from Scrabble to Castleton, a hit and run accident occurred. Tyson Lee Jolliffee of Rixeyville, driving a 1959 Chevrolet sedan was struck by another vehicle which failed to stop at the scene. Damage to the leftside of the Jolliffee car was estimated at $300.
The other vehicle is believed to be a late model blue car, and would be damaged on the left side or rear also. Anyone having information about a vehicle such as this is requested to please notify the State Police.

Flint Run Farm Polled Hereford Production Sale will be held Thursday, April 2nd, at the Front Royal Livestock Market, Front Royal. Owner, Ray Rudacille, Limeton Route, Bentonville, has selected 101 head of top quality Polled Herefords for this sale. Included in the offering will be 18 bulls, 53 open and bred heifers and 15 commercial cows with calves at side. All registered cattle are clean pedigreed and represent some of the top bloodliness in the East today. Most of the cattle are of ALF Choice Domino 6th breeding, the $35,000 National Champion bull used at Spring Valley Hereford Farm for many years.
