Plane are being readied to landscape the library grounds this spring. A new sidewalk across the front with approach steps and a simple arrangement of planting about the build ing and grounds will be done. There is one qualification how ever. The Board does not have access to suitable shrubbery. It is suggested that throughout the county enough could be found to do a nice job. Here are some suggestions as to needs: Boxwood both English and American in good sizes; perhaps some roses, bush and climbing: A few flowering trees. As to number of English Boxwood, we believe fifteen would be fine If they were two feet tall or better, and at least ten of the American of good size. When the work is completed each piece will be tagged and a list of donors will be placed in the library. We will begin work as soon as weather permits in order to get the planting done before hot weather. Anyone having any of the boxwood requested can arrange for its transfer by calling any of the Library Board Members, or writing to Library, Box 55, Washington. •Books are still needed.
