Trout Scheduled
For Release
The Virginia Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries will make its third and final large-scale release of trout for the 1964 season during the latter portion of June, according to Fish Division Chief Robert G. Martin. Sched uled for stocking between June 15 and June • 26 are 65,500 trout. The fish will be placed in some 72 streams in 32 counties. For several years the Game Commission has been stocking trout in early summer to help extend the opportunity for trout fishing. This year’s June stocking will consist of three times as many fish and will include twice as many counties as the comparable stocking in June of last year.
The Commission released the following stocking schedule in this area as a guide for anglers;
June 17: Gooney Run in Warren County. June 19; Hughes River in Rappahannock and Madison County and Rush River in Rappahannock County.
Tetanus Clinic
The second Tetanus Clinic sponsored by the Health Department will be held at the Rappahannock County High School on Thursday, June 25 between 10 and 11 o^cloc^c.
