Miller who died there Sept. 26, 1963 at the age of 99. He was never married. The original house was a frame story and a half structure, but has since been raised to two stories, and a wing added making 10 rooms. Col. Lyle, who is presently serving as a s s i s t a n t to the Comptroller of the U. S. Air Force, first purchased acreage nearby seven years ago, adding to it since. With the addition of the 520 acre Miller place, he is the 18th land owner in the county to have a farm in excess of 1,000 acres. Col. Lyle said he Intends to develop a cattle ranch and will name his holdings “Walnut Valley Ranch*. He lives in Arlington with his wife and one child. About 4/5 of living things, excepting insects, are native to the sea, including 40,000 varieties of oysters and barnacles, and 15,000 varieties of fish.
