Different Wreck
And Wrecker
It is often said that history repeats Itself, and so it did in an interesting incident last week. When a tractor-trailer loaded with furniture wrecked near Amissville last Wednesday, Russell Bros, wrecker responded immediately to the call. However, one average size wrecker could not handle the hugh mangled vehicle and its heavy load. A large wreck ing crane was summoned from a city nearby but was unable to come. About this time Al Gulino of Lynn Auto Parts, Highland, New York, was enroute from Tennessee to his home with a new wrecker which he had just purchased. When he came upon the accident scene he stopped and with the two wreckers the vehicle was uprighted and towed to Flint Hill.
Gulino said the same thin$ has happened in 1955 when h< was enroute from Tennessee to New York with a new wrecker. Only a few miles away or the same highway, three cart had wrecked and he stopper .to help “the Ford man up or the corner" in Washington witl the wrecked vehicles.
