To store non-washable garments, hang them in airtight zippered garment bags to protect from dust and crushing. If the garment is of wool, attach a small bag containing a moth-repellent to each hanger.
If woolens are stored in boxes, chests, or suitcases, sprinkle moth flakes, balls, or crystals between layers of ' clothes before wrapping them in paper, and then seal the ends. Before storing any garment plan where you will store each and check to be sure you have all the supplies you need. Make sure the garment is clean and treated in such a way that moths and other insects will nor be attracted to it. Around The. County
This week will be one of wet coming and preparation in the Extension office. We are welcoming the new home demonstration agent-in-training and we are preparing to attend the 41st Annual State 4-H Short Course in Blacksburg next week. Miss Doris Daugherty Joins our staff on June 16 to work with me as agent-in-trainlng until the end of July. At that time she will assume her duties as home demonstration agent. During the month from June 16 to July 15, we will be busy introducing her to each of the home demonstration clubs and many of the families irvthe
