Booth between twelve-thirty and three-thirty on Thursday afternoon. Rep. John O. Marsh and Senator George Aldhizer, as well as County and State officials will be present and appear in the parade of over 100 marching units and fire vehicles, including the Virginia Lancers, fife and drum corps from Strasburg. This colorful array will be led by Miss Joanne Heegan of the Wayside Theatre cast as Grand Marshal. Friday night's spectacle to be staged in the carnival grounds area will consist of a contest in precision landing by the rival companies, of the Capital Sky Divers Club, Inc. and St. Michaels Angels' Sport Parachute Club of Washington, D. C. The planes bearing the parachuters will take off from Front Royal, dropping the exhibitors over the cleared area provided. Prepare for thrills from this exhibition. Saturday night will be prize night! After four nights of door prizes, the grand prizes of a Ford Fair lane Car, a pony, a $25.00 Savings Bond, and a beautiful all wool, hand crotched afghan will be awarded to some happy people.
