Flint Hill Auxiliary Meeting
The July meeting of Flint Hill Ladies Auxiliary will be held Monday, July 13 at 7:30 p. m. instead of the first Monday of the month. All mem bers please note this change of meeting. The siren will blow at 7 o’clock to announce the meeting at 7:30 p. m.
Amissville Ruritans
Cited for Membership
The Amissville Ruritan Club met last Wednesday for their regular meeting.
Guests for the meeting were Ed Lord, District Governor; C. F. Yates, Jr., Lieut. Governor and Dan Colaw, District Secretary and Treasurer. Rev. James Harrison was also a guest. Mr. Lord presented the Club with an award for membership increase in 1963. This award is given to clubs having an increase of five or more new members during the year. Near the close of the school year, the Club presented awards to two seniors at Rappahannock High School and two awards went to two students in the seventh grade. These awards are given to students having the highest average grade in their class. The Amissville Ladies Auxiliary served supper before the meeting.

Committee Meets
Mrs. W. A. Gentry of Flint Hill, member of the Executive Committee of the Tuberculosis and Health Association of Northern Virginia, was in charge of the program “What's My Line in TB Control held at her home for all board members of the organization from Rappahannock County. Presented by Executive Director Mrs. Gladys L. Harris and Mrs. E. Wilson Morrison Program Associate of the association, were the organizational structure and development of the voluntary agency the problem of tuberculosis in the area and respiratory diseases among children. The findings and recommendations for the county and area of the School Health Fact Finding Committee were discussed. The group talked about how the school health needs are being met and manner in which members of the board might participate, Virginia ranks thirteenth in the United States with the largest number of deaths and active cases of Tuberculosis. Statistics of the area reveal the the eight counties have more people over 65 than the state of Virginia as a whole, less non-white population, more people with incomes of $3000 or less and is growing faster than the Commonwealth. j
