The marriage of Miss Mary Norman Davis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davi^ Jr. of Washington, to the Reverend Park Price Dickerson, ■on of Dr. Lynn C. Dickerson and the late Mrs. Dickerson of Roanoke, took place at noon on Saturday, June 20, 1964 at ss Trinity Episcopal Church, with the immediate families present. Solemnization of holy matrimony and communion were performed by the Reverend Charles Glaenzer, Rector at Trinity and the Reverend John Frizzell of St. Albans, Annandale.
Altar vases of magnolias and lighted candles decorated the church. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore her mother’s wedding dress of eggshell satin, designed with princess lines and lego-mutton sleeves which ended in points over her hands. Her elbow length veil of imported heirloom lace and silk illusion fell from a crown of seed pearls, also worn by her mother. Her only Jewelry was a gold pin which has been worn by brides on the maternal sldeof the family for more than a hundred years.
