Bister of the bride, was maid of honor. Her street length sheath was of blue lace over taffeta, made with a jacket which had bracelet length sleeves. She wore a horsehair braid picture hat and carried a prayer book with a Bingle rose. .Miss DruaUla’Gftaves Davis, a younger sister of the bride, was maiden of honor. She was dressed in blue silk organza. Cousins of the bride, acting as bridesmaids were Miss Betsy Davis of Charlestown, W. Va., Miss Ann Lanier Davis, Alexandria and Miss Drucilla Austin, Warrenton. Other bridesmaids were Miss Elizabeth Grey of Winnetka, 111., Miss Shelia Keating, Washington, D. C. and Miss Carolyn Turner, Washington, Va. The attendants' gowns were pink and blue lace, Identical to that of the maid of honor, with white accessories. Crucifer was Kirkland Davis of Warrenton, godson of the bride, and the acolyte was Stewart Hawkins, Washington. Mrs. John G. Cargill of Richmond was organist and Mrs. Clarence Jackson Miller, Washington, was mistress of ceremonies.
