Two Local Ministers
Named to Health Grp.
Announcement has been made of the appointment of Dr C. F. Melton of Sperryville and the Reverend Charles F. Glaenzer of Washington to the Regional Study Group of the Seventh Congressional District of the State Mental Health Commission. Dr. Ruth McNeil, member of the Executive Committee of the State Mental Health Study Commission, said last Thursday that a public hearing is scheduled by the State Health Study Commission in Harrisonburg on June 30th. In commenting on the committee, Dr. McNeil said the group is composed <^f knowledgable and effective laymen as well as professionals in the field of mental health. In defining the duties of the special study group, Dr. Melton said on Monday that his committee will review anc validate the abstract of the Public Hearing and submit a report in a standard format provided by the Commission, The two local men are scheduled ta go to Staunton or Sept. 2nd for a stated meeting of the State Health Commission.

The Amissville RuritanClub will hold its annual barbecue on Saturday, July 4 at Amissville carnival grounds from 4 to 10 p.m. The beef will be pit cooked over night.
