Mrs. W. W. Cloe, Jr. of Stafford is the guest this week of her | parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Pillar. Mrs. Maury Brown went to Richmond on Friday and joined her daughter Mrs. Elizabeth Ragan for a trip to Hampton to attend the Konek-Jones wedding on Saturday. Mrs. Helen Bruce and Mrs. Mabel Gore were Saturday evening callers of Mr. Brown. Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Partlow were Saturday overnight guests in the Maury Brown home. On Sunday Mrs. Maury Brown returned to her home accompanied for a few days visit by her daughter Mrs. Elizabeth Ragan and her grandchildren, Joey and Robin Jones. Mr.and Mrs. J. Earl Wayland were! Sunday night callers in the Brown home. Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Brown had with them for the weekend their daughter, Miss Carolyn Brown of Washington, D. C. Mrs. Catherine Brown and Mrs. F. D. Coffey spent Sunday in Arlington visiting Mr. and Mrs. Edward Payne. Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. N. Montague were Mr. and Mrs. Reginald Venerable of Alexandria. Mrs. James F. Smith returned to her home here on Wednesday after a visit with relatives in Manning and Florence, S. C. Mrs. Gordon Payne of Madi> son was a guest of her parents Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Johnson on Friday. On Sunday she returned to Charlottesville to resume classes at the University of Virginia for the summer session.
Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Wayland were Mr. 1 and Mrs. Julian Wayland and family, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Wayland, all of Arlington. Recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. Earle Wayland were Mr. and Mrs. John McCloy of Annandale.
The Misses Ann Yates and Joyce Aylor of Arlington are spending a summer vacation here dividing their time with their grandparents, Mrs.
